Some photos from a walk last Monday around Gosford foreshore to Gosford/Edogawa Commemorative Japanese Garden

On Monday I went by train to Gosford on the Central Coast with a group of old friends (two are literally 90 years old) to walk to the Edogawa Commemorative Garden which was a gift from the people of Edogawa (Gosford’s Sister City in Japan) to the people of Gosford.  The Garden is owned, managed and maintained by Gosford City Council.    It is visited by  over 160,000 people each year.    It is also used for small intimate weddings, naming ceremonies and other functions.  Access is free and is via an art gallery displaying local artists’ works,  next to a restaurant with a view of the gardens.  It is a beautiful and tranquil place.  I will be posting more soon.
